Programs
About Our Program
Our programs are about spending time with a child. We pair a volunteer mentor one to one with a child and we call this a match. Once matched, Big Brothers and Big Sisters develop friendships with their Little Brothers and Little Sisters. It’s that simple. We have many programs in which you can volunteer with a child!
Site-based: Bigs and Littles meet once a week in schools, libraries and community centers, to talk and have fun. It’s not about being a tutor. It’s about being a friend.
Community-based: Bigs and Littles meet 2 to 4 times a month and the time spent together is flexible to fit your busy schedule. They hang out in the community and go to museums, sports events, movies, and more. It’s up to you and your Little! There are also other unique programs and ways to volunteer. Contact our office to learn more.
